Our first ever collection is designed around the beauty of Côte d’Ivoire. For every product from that collection that we sell, we support the albino-community in Côte d’Ivoire. We do this by setting up a local sunscreen production facility. In this way, we contribute to the living circumstances with sunscreen, education, training and employment.
To kickstart the brand, we started a social mission to ‘the smiling coast of Africa’, also known as the Gambia. We collected 166 gift boxes and invested locally in multiple causes. It was an unbelievable experience and made us even more determined to create sustainable development with our brand. Together we can definitely have a real impact.
We aim to change the fundamentals of the fashion industry. This industry is still one of the most harmful industries for our beautiful planet. By taking ‘sustainability’ into account in every aspect of business we aim to minimise the negative impact that we could possibly have. The world is such a beautiful place and Bigger Picture Clothing wants to keep it that way.
785.000.000 people do not have access to clean drinking water. Around 500.000 children die every year from diarrhea caused by unsafe water and poor sanitaton. That’s over 1.400 children each day. Therefore, we donate 1.000 liters of clean drinking water for every single product we sell.
We aim to create a win-win-win situation. We want to positively impact the planet, the people and our business development goals. In this way we can align our ambitions on the areas of sustainability, development and business in such a way that everybody that is related to the Bigger Picture benefits!
